Our Mission

To develop a growing number of fully devoted followers of Christ who GATHER for worship, teaching, fellowship and prayer, who ENGAGE others to make Christ known and who SERVE within our church, local communities and the world.

Our Core Beliefs

 

  • There is one living and true God who exists eternally in three persons—Father, Son and Holy Spirit.


Jesus came and told His disciples, “I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.”
Matthew 28:18-19

God the Father - creator of all things

​

Do you not know? Have you not heard? The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and His understanding no one can fathom.
Isaiah 40:28

God the Son - born of a virgin, fully God and man

​

Therefore the LORD himself will give you a sign: The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and will call him ‘Immanuel’ (which means ‘God with us’).
Isaiah 7:14

God the Holy Spirit - sent to us from heaven

 

“The helper whom I will send to you from the Father will come. This helper, the Spirit of Truth who comes from the Father, will declare the truth about me.”

John 15:26

  • A relationship with God can only be found through faith in his Son, Jesus Christ
    ​

Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.”
John 14:6

  • Jesus’ death on the cross offers forgiveness by paying the price for our sins


“...for this is my blood, which confirms the covenant between God and his people. It is poured out as a sacrifice to forgive the sins of many.”
Matthew 26:28

  • Jesus is risen and alive


And he said, “Yes, it was written long ago that the Messiah would suffer and die and rise from the dead on the third day.”
Luke 24:46

  • The Holy Spirit indwells every person at the moment they become a Christian


“But when the Father sends the Advocate as my representative—that is, the Holy Spirit—he will teach you everything and will remind you of everything I have told you.”
John 14:26

  • The Bible is the final authority for faith and life, inerrant in the original writings
     

“Don’t misunderstand why I have come. I did not come to abolish the law of Moses or the writings of the prophets. No, I came to accomplish their purpose. I tell you the truth, until heaven and earth disappear, not even the smallest detail of God’s law will disappear until its purpose is achieved.”
Matthew 5:17-18

  • The primary purpose of a Christian is to love God and love others


Jesus replied, “‘You must love the LORD your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. A second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’
Matthew 22:37-39
