- In 2011 our conference occurred on the weekend of August 12-14.
- It was a time we connected with our ministry partners from overseas as well as locally.
- We heard about the work God is doing around the world through our many partners.
- We shared food with one another, spent time in prayer, lifted up worship to the Lord, had panel discussions, attended breakout sessions on many topics, and much more.
- The kids and students were also educated about the world through fun events and activities.
- The kids ate ethnic food, did crafts, heard from ministry partners, etc.
- The students ate together, served together, heard from ministry partners, etc.
The theme for CONNECT '11 was "Conduct the Light"
The Bible passage we chose to accompany our theme was Isaiah 49:6; "I will also make you a light for the Gentiles, that you may bring my salvation to the ends of the earth."
Our desire in planning this conference was to give everyone the opportunity to increase in awareness, knowledge, enthusiasm, involvement, and relationships with the ministry partners Christ Community supports. In reflection we believe God was glorified and many were blessed!
