Our HomePointe campaign for winter/spring 2012 is "Building Strong Marriages."  Marriage is a foundational institution designed by God. Therefore, how you view marriage, regardless of your own situation, colors the way you view life.   With that in mind, here are a number of opportunities that we encourage everyone to consider:

Christ Community Church sponsors The Blessing Challenge for Marriage seminar featuring author and speaker John Trent on Friday night, March 23 (7-9pm) and Saturday morning March 24, (9am-12pm).  

Early registration for the seminar is $40/person ($80/couple) if you sign-up by Sunday, February 26.  After February 26, registration is $50/person ($100/couple).  Childcare is $10/family for Friday night and $20/family for Saturday morning.

The registration form for the seminar is available as part of the Building Strong Marriages HomePointe guide (available in the HomePointe Center at Christ Community on/after January 22). Completed registration forms and payment can be submitted at the HomePointe Center beginning on Sunday, January 22.

A new women's Bible study, What's it Like to Be Married To Me, by Linda Dillow runs thru the end of April. Study groups meet Tuesday evenings and Wednesday and Thursday mornings.  Email Louann to join a small group.

ALL women are invited to join us for Breakaway, our spring retreat April 20th-22nd, as we pause from our regular routines to hear from God and consider our place as women who wisely pursue God in our homes, our workplace, and our community. Intimacy in Marriage, a workshop for women in finding God's best for our marriages will be offered at this year's Snowflake Cafe, February 25th, 9am-12noon. This is a free morning of encouragement and friendship, featuring Lynne Hutzel as our speaker. DOWNLOAD workshop descriptions here.

Christ Community's Mens Ministry is currently offering a marriage study called, The Art of Marriage.  This is based on the popular A Weekend to Remember marriage conference.

Kids Nite In/Parents Nite Out: Fri., Feb. 10 from 6:30 - 9 p.m. Bring your kids to the church for a fun night of playing while you go out for a Valentines date with your spouse!  Children ages 3 - 5th Grade are welcome. Cost is FREE but you must pre-register by Feb. 8 online or on Sundays Jan. 29 and Feb. 5 in the church lobby.
