Here's a great 7 5 2 story that one of our CCC men recently shared with me:

"7-5-2 has been a blessing to my entire family.  I have a wife and 5 children and between us all we have the 4 corners of the US covered.  Two in Philly east coast, 1 in North Country, 1 on west coast, and one down south.  I have been praying for them all for a while but have entered into the 7-5-2 format.

I awake each morning about 5am and go straight to the Bible for study.  I then send an email to my family with scriptural insights.  I also include one student at LSU with my son who my son led to the Lord and who is like a son to me.  After sharing the word and prayer for them I head out for a morning walk, rain or shine, and spend the next 40 minutes in prayer for all of them individually.  We now use texting and email to pray throughout the day for each other and to apprise each other of our prayers. 

At home my wife and I have upped the "2 part" to more times.  We now find ourselves praying together often even if only for a minute.  We lift up our family and each other.

Through this God is moving our family, close to begin with, to becoming even more tight knit.  God is doing great work in each of us.

Barbara Reed, who taught and directed a local pre-school for 27 years, led our first of three parenting pre-schoolers class on 10/24/10.  Barbara focused on boundaries and discipline.
